Brett Kelly

Brett Kelly is a Guitar Player. He writes compositions for solo "touch-style" guitar and programs accompaniment. He Currently performs with Atlanta's Sorry no Ferrari and Tealights. The solo project began in Yonkers, New York as Brett filled in as bassist for Angry Penguin recording artists, Dr. Hourai (www.drhourai.net). The music itself intrigues the minds eye as polyrhythmic melodies coincide with lyrical ballads composed for the fingers of the right hand. Not unlike 'touch-style' greats such as; Stanley Jordan, Michael Hedges, and Colin Masterson, Brett plays to an audience who expects to hear innovation with each harmony.
