Other Voices

Other Voices formed in 2003 when the former vocalist and rhythm section of Death of Marat joined forces with Aaron Burke, guitarist of the infamous Nintendo cover group, the Minibosses. With Jef Wright on the drums and vocals and John Brandon on bass, there are definitely similarities to their former band, although less effects are used, giving Other Voices a more direct sound. Burke adds a stark contrast with intricate and busy guitar lines. Other Voices were known for an ear-piercing live performace around their home town of Phoenix, Arizona - drawing comparisons to A Place To Bury Strangers - minus the My Bloody Valentine overtones. Other Voices have not been active for years, but you never know, there are probably a few more shows left in them yet!
