The Rigmas

The Rigma's existed for a very brief period, May 2005 until August 2005. Featuring Leslie (formerly of the Black Aux), Darrell, Jean, Shimby and Victor, The Rigma's wooed audiences with their excellent well played catchy dancy melodic rock tunes. Utilizing keyboards, bass, guitar, drums and Leslie on vocals The Rigma's always got the crowd shaking their booty. Imagine do-wop reinvented by kids who listened to the pixies, rolling stones, sonic youth, and gang of four. The result is an extremely catchy but serious sound. With the departure of their drummer to upstate new york for grad school the band ended as quickly as it was formed. Of course that is what made The Rigma's good - rather then try to please people The Rigma's were just playing to have fun.
